Ritva Westenius is to wedding dresses what Meryl Streep is to movies. Recently named British Bridal Designer 2012 at the bridal equivalent of the Oscars, Ritva and Chenca (Ritva’s daughter and creative partner) were recognised for their incredible contribution to the bridal business, and their pretty, feminine and timeless dresses. Having had the honour of meeting these talented and charming ladies, I feel extremely lucky to have a number of Ritva and Chenca dresses amongst my collection. There isn’t a bride who has come through the door and not looked a million dollars in a Ritva dress; usually creating the enviable problem of ‘which one?’.
